Questions? We've got answers

Everything you need to know about joining Nextgen Mentorship Hub — from who can take part to fees, sessions, and enrollment.

What is Nextgen Mentorship Hub?

Nextgen Mentorship Hub is an aviation mentorship hub dedicated to inspiring and equipping the next generation of aviators. We give young people mentorship, practical exposure, and training that helps them discover careers in flying, aircraft engineering, cabin crew, flight dispatch, air traffic control, and beyond.

Who can join your programs?

Our membership teams are grouped by age: Alpha (13–17), Bravo (8–12), and Charlie (5–7). The Delta day visit is open to all ages. We welcome young aviators from all backgrounds — no aviation family or prior experience required.

What happens in a session?

Sessions blend flight simulator practice, KCAA-aligned ground school, mentorship from professional captains and engineers, and hands-on airside exposure. Depending on the team, members also enjoy Young Eagle flights, airside visits, and holiday flying camps.

Where and when do sessions take place?

We are based at 1st Floor, Pewin House, Wilson Airport, Langata Road, Nairobi. Sessions run every Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

Do we need any prior experience to join?

None at all. Every young aviator starts with curiosity — we provide the mentorship, structure, and hands-on experience that turns that curiosity into real skill and a clear pathway.

How much does membership cost and how do I pay?

Fees vary by team — Alpha (1,700 USD/yr), Bravo (950 USD/yr), Charlie (350 USD/yr), and the Delta day visit (KES 5,000). You can pay via M-PESA Paybill 880100 (NCBA), Account No. 086836. See the Membership page for full details.

What do I need to enroll my child?

A fully filled membership form, a copy of the National ID (or guardian’s ID) or passport, a copy of the child’s birth certificate, two passport-size photos, and the membership subscription fee.

How can a school start an aviation or STEM club?

Through our consultancy and advisory work, we help schools establish their own aviation/STEM clubs — including curriculum guides, mentor recruitment, and funding strategies. Reach out and we’ll help you get started.

How can I become a mentor or volunteer?

If you have expertise in aviation, aerospace, or a related field, we’d love your support. Email us your details and availability and our team will be in touch.
